Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson, in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.” Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now. A awesome new movie to hit cinemas is Real Steel. I have got to tell you that the graphics will blow you away and the special effects will leave you amazed. It is about a man (who is played by Hugh Jackman) who used to be an ultimate boxer. Then when the style of boxing changed to robot boxing so did he. He now controls robots in the fighting arena but he isnt that good at it. Then when he spends some time with his sun who used to live with his divorced wife before she died. They become better and fly through the ranks and have the best time but on the way they face emotional and physical obstacles. Hugh Jackmen does a wonderful job at playing his character but unfortunatley that is over- shadowed a bit because the actor who plays the kid is unfortunatley not that good of an actor. It is an awesome movie that I recommend everyone to see. It is rated M. I rate it 9 and a half out of 10.
A new adventure, comedy movie that has hit cinemas is the new movie the Smurfs. Basically everyone has seen the cartoons and cartoon strips of the Smurfs. The Smurfs are little blue magical people that live in a enchanted forest and each Smurf is named after their personality. An evil wizard named Gargemel wants to find the Smurfs and use their magical powers for evil and torture them. On the day of the Blue Moon Festival Gargemel finds the smurfs and he tries to catch them. When the Smurfs are trying to escape the smurf named Clumsy accidentley goes to a deadley path and a small group of Smurfs run after him to try and stop him but right on their tail is Gargemel. When they reach the end of the track they find Clumsy but also there is a portal their that has just opened because it is a Blue Moon and the Smurfs get sucked in and Gargemel and his pet cat jump in to. The Smurfs and Gargemel find them selves in a different world which is the normal human world. They are confused with all the technology and people and so is Grgemel. They meet a couple and stay with them. The Smurfs try to find their way home and make sure they don’t get caught my Gargemel. But it wont be easy because they don’t have any of the equipment and any of the potions. In the movie the Smurfs hit trouble with Gargemel and the future doesn’t look good. Can the Smurfs escape the evil wizard Gargemel and get home. It is rated PG. I recommend it for little kids. I rated it 2 out of 5 stars.
A new fantastic movie to hit cinemas is the sequel to Johnny English which is Johnny English Reborn. The first movie was hilarious and since the main character Johnny English was being acted by Rowan Atkinson who is the main character of a legendary, hilarious television series called Mr. Bean you could see that the director had chosen a great actor to play Johnny English. The second movie was even more hilarious and full of action with double agents, unexpected assassins, awesome fighting scenes and lots of comedy mixed in with it all. It is no wonder why it has made a great movie. Johnny has been brought back to MI7 but is soon being framed in the agency and he must work out who the real culprit is. He must also stop the plans of an ultimate weapon being opened and being used in evil ways. Can Johnny find out who it is or will he fail. The movie is full of near death experiences for Johnny. It is rated PG. I rate it 4 and a half out of 5 stars.
A new great movie that has came out is the movie Red Dog. It is a movie based on a true story and it will touch your heart. This movie is about a red kelpie who gets named Red Dog. Red soon becomes known within the whole town of Dampier and everyone loves him except for a couple of grouchy people. The movie is full of comedy, adventure and sadness. Also this movie represents that anyone or anything can make a difference in life. It is rated PG. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 or hp7p2 has finaly hit cinemas. I can tell right here that it is an amazing movie that is gauranteed to have you on the edge of your seat. The special effects are amazing and the action is non-stop. Voldermort is back and is ready to take over the world but will Harry be able to stop him! Only one will survive! Which one will it be!
